Cold pressed terminal is the joint of wire, cable or electrical equipment with low temperature limit. It is a kind of accessory commodity used to complete electrical connection. It is necessary to fully understand the cold pressing terminal to be operated and its operation method, so as to ensure accurate operation; for the cold pressed terminal without anti misoperation, color code or symbol shall be used to identify, or whether the appropriate type is corresponding before connection, and ensure accurate positioning when connecting with each other.
Special attention should be paid to avoid the wrong connection of the pin socket, otherwise the cold pressed terminal will be damaged and accidental electric touch will be caused; the cold pressing terminal should be connected in place; in special occasions that are not easy to check, specific rules should be made in the corresponding operation procedures, which can be inspected through the endoscope.

When the touch pieces are crossed and connected, the cable core shall be matched with the terminal of the touch piece.
When welding, the electric iron with corresponding power should be selected according to the diameter of bare wire. The welding time of each touch piece usually does not exceed 5S. Attention should be paid not to let the flux enter into the insulator to avoid reducing the insulation resistance of commodity. If the cold pressure terminal is in separation condition, it should be installed with protective cap or other dust-proof measures; if the cold pressure terminal is connected for a long time, it can be fixed between the plug and socket.
When cleaning the cold pressing terminal, the silk cloth dipped in anhydrous ethanol can be used and used after drying. Chemical solvents such as acetone that may have a detrimental effect on the adaptor are not allowed. When the cold compression terminals are connected or separated, the axis lines of the plug and socket should be overlapped as much as possible, and the cable should be righted to avoid the effect of tangential force on the plug and the damage of the connector caused by the cable sag.
Before accurate connection or thorough locking of cold pressed terminals, it is forbidden to electrify cold pressed terminals; anti loosening equipment shall be provided when thread connection is applied in the fixing of cold pressed terminals and clamping of wiring harness; inspection and inspection of cold pressed terminals shall be carried out according to the requirements of relevant commodity specifications and operation instructions.
